They have one thing in common – they are made from durable paper and as such they are very hygienic and recommended for use in professional salons – you use them for a session and then throw them in the trash.

What is the gradation of a file?
Simply put, it is the number of grains contained in a square inch of the file. The less grains, the sharper the file, the more grains, the finer the file.
File Graduation Guide – 80 – Coarse, Sharp Surface. A file with this grit acts like emery paper and is mainly used for filing acrylic, i.e. hard surfaces. – 100 – Medium surface grit.
Compatible with trimming hard nails, gels or acrylic gels and sanding the top layer of products.
– 180 – Fine grained finish To shorten the natural nail plate to maintain the final shape.
– 240 – Blunches the nail plate, final smoothing of gel or acrylic m.
A rule you should remember: start with a coarse-grained file and gradually work yourself into a fine-grained file – never the other way around.
