Dear Customer Samsung have previously used two external filters – the EF9603 (commonly called the Magic Water Filter) and the WSF100 (slightly larger, improved version). These have now been superceeded on 2008 model fridges with the Samsung DA29-10105J. This is an EXTERNAL cartridge which fits behind your refrigerator, featuring quick release push fit connectors. Please note that this cartridge is completely different to the DA29-00003A/B series cartridges which fit inside the refrigerator compartment itself (the two are -not- interchangeable). We do offer replacements for this cartridge, however compatibles have always offered fantastic value, performance and reliability at a fraction of the cost. Instead we have our own cartridge – the Finerfilters FF10 which comes complete with fitting instructions, a convienient easy fit tool and of course full technical backing by our support staff in the unlikely event you have any trouble with the installation.
This filter has ‘Jaco’ Fittings on each end that will accept 1/4″ water filter tubing.
Provides cleaner, fresher water by reducing impurities such as; Sediment (Silt, Sand & Rust), Chlorine Taste & Odour. Doesn’t remove essential minerals which are naturally occurring in water.
